downloaded some, used some, deleted a lot! and then decided to do my own list of application that no one i saw recommend them.
so this is my list:

1. alarm clock 2 a great little alarm clock that all the feature you could ask in an alarm clock (snooze, easy alarm, mp3 support) and in the right size. and memory foot print.
2. appzapper i know everyone talked about this little app but it's simple the best uninstaller for mac os and worth 7$
3. audio hijack pro one of the macbook main problem is it's lousy speakers volume, they are very weak that's where you can use audio hijack to get some more volume into your macbook.
5. UNrarx the smallest fastest and simple rar extractor just extract those files you need support all the features you need (password protect, multiple files etc) just do the job with out a big fuss about it.
6. spanning sync Synchronize Google Calendar and Apple iCal. Share calendars between multiple Macs. Share calendars with your coworkers, family, and friends. And while you're at it, connect Google Calendar to your iPod, mobile phone, and other devices.another applications i use that everyone else recommend them too are: adiumx (the best IM solution for MAC), cyber duck (a great ftp client), disco (a very good cd/dvd burn software)
and VLC (the best video playback software out there)
plesae feel free to comment.

What a shame that none of the applications teach you correct grammer and punctuation.
Transmit is better than cyber duck, Toast is better than disco, BitTyrant is going to/is banned from a lot of private trackers
Aurora is the best alarm clock.
i don't know transmit but i would check it out,
toast is indeed better but disco is much more simple, fun and consumer oriented.
i still didn't got a ban on Bityrant but i would love to ear your opinion on the best torrent.
and about aurora i would check it out.
Thanks
Nice list of apps. I also like Chax to go along with iChat.
And, always keep an eye on freemacware.com for new apps.

By far the best Alarm clock application is Awaken. Give it a try. Shareware but still great.
