5 linkedin tips

These days linkedin became the standard for "professionals social network"
i use it a lot and i must say that i am a big fan.
So here is my tips for better usage
my first tip and i am not even listing it is REGISTER!
now for the list

1. Get a nice URL for you public profile like mine is http://www.linkedin.com/in/navotvolk and make it "full view" what the point of hiding stuff?
2. Recommend on people they will return you a favor and will help your profile look better.
3. let linkedin scan your contacts using there outlook tool bar or webmail checker (it all ways found someone you forgot).
4. ask/answer questions in linkedin answer, beside the fact that you will get quality answers you will find people that can help you in your work.
5. join a group... beside the fact that it decorate your profile it can expose you to variety of pro's in your field.
another bonus tip:
next time when you are sending CV for a job try adding the link to your linkedin profile.
it will show your employer that you are innovative (and he can look at your recommendations)
