I don't know how i missed it (maybe because i was out of the country) but google released a new mobile appl last week... and with a big potential to be a mobile killer app.
Of course i mean the new google calender for mobile.
My first impression,
nice interface and definitely works for mobile users (the UI).
Why only a potential and not a real killer app?
Because like i said in previous posts mobile web just don't cut it... for mobile users there is a need for special application that feet to mobile, look at gmail for mobile for example (much better then the gmail mobile interface) and i know google knows it.
Im pretty sure down the road Google will launch a new Google calender for mobile with much more features, much more hype and not just a mobile interface.
P.S
when will Google understand that there is a need for push mail/PIM and start deliver it.
