which programing languague should i choose for my mobile project?

A few weeks a go i wrote about the right platform and programming language for you web project, today i will go over mobile development solutions.
Every time a company invites me to discuss mobile solutions one of the first question that thrown in the air is "which technology to choose? java? .net? something else?"
As you can guess there is no simple answer and as always my answer depends...
In this case it's depends on the mobile platform you are choosing.
for example when you developing for windows mobile choosing something different from .NET compact framework or embedded c for native applications will not be a good idea.
(When developing a consumer application it is better to choose embedded c).
If you choose to develop to Symbian or for nokia s40 i will definitely recommend J2ME because of the easy of development.
Blackberry development can be tricky because you can use both j2me and .net i don't have any experience with the .net component but i know that the j2me JDE works great.
