A lot of people ask me what is a smart phone, what do i think about nokie Nxx and what makes a phone smart.
The simple definition was a phone with a open OS that enables to install 3rd party applications like Symbian s60 or windows mobile.
But what about the iPhone is it a smart phone? (i will say yes) and it doesn't have an open OS unless you use the help of hackers.
The problem is because these phones are so smart they forget how to be a phone and they are all act as a small PC (and not a lot of users want a PC in there pocket they want a phone!) and that's why most users still like the small simple nokia's and not the Nokia N series or win mobile phones. (i will talk about the iPhone in another post)
