A month and a half ago i wrote about the new plaxo 3.0 beta and why i paid them 50$.
over all it's a pretty good service with some draw back that I hope the plaxo team will fix if they want to be really good and not just "nice to have" service for professionals.
1. full Google calender sync- has for now you can sync with plaxo only the events you created and can't sync event that you where invited too or from another calenders, why???
every professional attends meeting he/she didn't always schedule.
2. more frequent sync- why are the google calender sync happen once in 24 hours? does it seems reasonable for the plaxo team? i am working with an iphone and i would really like to sync it with google calender but why only once in 24 hours?
3. automatic linkedin sync- Plaxo has a sync with Linkedin but why only manual sync can't it be automatic sync, do you really think users will remember to go to plaxo.com and press sync?
4. better De-duper- the de-duper is a great service only if it will work better.
why i am finding contacts with 100+ emails?
why can't Plaxo do a close match by name and suggest to combine them?
Like i said overall Plaxo is a good service but it's not quite there yet... i paid them 50$ to get it to there and lets hope they will or i will start looking for alternative like there guys
